Vico Magistretti, Troco, Artemide 1975

£369.00
SOLD

Produced by Artemide in 1975, the Troco lamp by master Italian architect and designer Vico Magistretti, is a beautifully simple synthesis of basic elements and materials. Composed of a blown opaline glass tube cut like an organ pipe which is fastened to a black lacquered metal bracket by way of a bakelite lamp holder and fixing ring. The Troco was designed to be used on a table top or fixed to a wall, producing an exceptional quality of light because of the perfectly balanced inclination of the glass diffuser.

More information on the Troco, as well as a full catalogue of all of Magistretti’s works and projects, can be viewed at the Archivio Vico Magistretti.

This example of the Troco lamp is the smaller of the two versions produced by Artemide and is in perfect condition. The lamp is in fact new (dead stock) and comes complete with all its parts, fixings and instructions in its original packaging. The sale includes a new E27 2.5W 250 lumen LED light source.
