The very large and elegant Galdino table lamp designed by Carlo Urbinati for Harvey Guzzini. Produced in 1973, the Galdino is an incredibly well made and robust object with a distinctive tubular lampshade composed of die-cast aluminium that slides and rotates along a chrome rod. A heavy cast iron base functions both as a large switch and a weight to stop the lamp from tilting. The lamp casts a sharp and focused beam of light with any excess glare absorbed by the black lampshade. Urbinati’s Galdino is part of a series of wall, floor and table lamps that Guzzini only kept in production for a few short years, between 1973 and 1976.

The Galdino table lamp is in excellent condition and working order and is shipped with a new E27 2.6W 210 lumen LED spot light.
