Gae Aulenti, Adjustable Reading Lamp, Stilnovo 1979
An adjustable reading lamp designed by the great Gae Aulenti for Stilnovo in 1979. Composed in a dark green lacquered metal, the lamp bears all the hallmarks of Aulenti’s attention to detail and sense of geometry and proportion that underpinned all her work. The lamp has a mechanism which allows the top part to swivel 360 degrees around the base, and a wide brimmed shade that is also adjustable in order to direct the light. The lamp was designed as part of a series which included applications for the floor, wall and ceiling.
The lamp is in excellent condition and perfect working order. The lamp uses a standard E27 light source which is not included in the sale.
