Z1-90 Desk Lamp, Veneta Lumi 1994

Using a combination of colours that are immediately evocative of the Memphis group, the Z1-90 desk lamp is a remarkably delicate and highly collectable object of the early nineties. Produced by Veneta Lumi, the lamp is composed of two separate metal rods, one holding the reflector and the other extending into the base. The two parts are connected via an adjustable cylindrical hub that allows the lamp to be articulated in multiple ways. Even though the Z1-90 lamp is embellished with the bright primary colour palette of the Memphis group, its small proportions and slim profile make it a very discreet and functional object for any interior space.

The lamp is in excellent condition and working order, with only a few light scratches and blemishes around the rim and interior parts of the reflector. The light source, a new E14 4W 470 lumen LED bulb, is included in the sale.
