Pair of Opaline Table Lamps, Netherlands c1980s

£129.00
SOLD

A pair of attractive opaline glass table lamps most probably produced in the Netherlands circa 1980s, but we cannot be absolutely certain of their origins. The lamps are composed of a moulded glass shade that fits into a red plastic base with the support of a foam rubber band. The opaline glass allows the lamps to cast a very soft diffuse light with no glare. The lamps, which appear to have been originally produced for industrial applications on a ceiling or wall, have been reconfigured for use as table lamps.

The lamps are both in perfect condition and working order and have each been fitted with a new E27 4W 470 lumen LED light source. The pair can also be easily returned to their original configuration as ceiling or wall lamps.
