Elio Martinelli, Mod. 677, Martinelli Luce 1977

This classic lamp, with its elegant geometry and proportion, is unmistakably a design by Elio Martinelli. Produced in 1977 by Martinelli Luce, the Model 677 lamp casts a soft diffused light through a white opal methacrylate shade, which is inclinable and height adjustable (to a maximum of 55cm). The base and frame are composed of a white lacquered metal, with a switch housed in the bakelite lamp-holder. The Martinelli Luce mark and model number is displayed on the inside of the frame. The Model 677 was most likely not in production for very long and is therefore rarely seen on the market.

The lamp is in excellent condition and working order. A new E27 4W (40W) 470 lumen LED light source is included in the sale. The lamp will be shipped with copies of correspondence with Martinelli Luce who have authenticated the lamp.
