Maurizio Bertoni, Lippa, Castaldi 1985

Maurizio Bertoni’s Lippa desk or wall lamp was produced by Castaldi Illuminazione in 1985 as part of a series of lamps which included applications for the floor, wall and ceiling. With its super slim profile and technical styling, the design of the Lippa stays faithful to the 1980s preoccupation with objects orientated towards the office. The lamp is composed of lacquered metal, with plastic connector parts, and features a rotating circular reflector with adjustable diffuser flaps to help direct the light source. This example of the Lippa has been configured for use as a desk lamp, but can also be fixed to a wall as it was originally intended.

The lamp is in excellent condition and perfect working order, and has been fitted with a new 118mm R7S LED 10W light bulb.
