Tobia Scarpa, Bollo, Flos 1979

£460.00
SOLD

A pair of Bollo wall lamps designed by Tobia Scarpa for Flos in 1979. The Bollo (which means stamp in Italian) presumably takes its name from the impression left behind by the circular wall strut which appears to have been stamped into the fan shaped body. The lamps are composed of die-cast aluminium which has been finished in a textured tan or taupe tone, and completed with curved prismatic glass shades to diffuse the light.

The lamps are in excellent condition and perfect working order, and will be shipped with two 118mm R7S halogen light bulbs (300W), which can easily be substituted with more energy efficient LED variants.
