Richard Sapper, Aretusa, Artemide 1987

£370.00
SOLD

The Aretusa, designed by Richard Sapper for Artemide in 1987, is a small and discrete suspension lamp that was specifically created for direct lighting applications. The lamp features a black body composed of a textured plastic material, which houses a transformer and lamp holder, with two small red pins from which the diffuser is hung. This example of the Aretusa has a paper diffuser and not the original which was constructed from a screened mylar mesh material.

The lamp is in excellent condition and perfect working order and includes an Osram Halogen Coolspot (50W 12V) light bulb from the eighties, that was originally sold with the lamp.
